something so beautiful has entered our lives
this gift of friendship so strong yet fragile
every word every sentence
holds such affection and warmth
each feels enfolded.. cocooned from harm
this liking is so ingrained
and missing so constant
our feelings so intense.. no words could express
no expression could define.. if defies all reason
but what a wonder what a surprise
despite that watershed in our lives
neither went looking nor ever expected

no holds no bars nor hesitation or fear

to define it in words seems so tough
