cosmos within

as i look up the sky embraces me
as far as i can see
the sun sparkles in my eyes
warming soothing
the trees stand proud
bending down
blooming with this need to give
the earth beneath my feet
holds all of me
the flowers flushed with joy
the dew shimmers in a beautiful merging
of tears and smiles
the sea embraces everything within
and as the sky darkens
the moon glows in assurance
that the stars will always be there
like this silent breeze unseen
sometimes i wonder how a look
holds the cosmos within
