reborn

sometimes we feel so many strange emotions
and with all our conditioning
resort to either mockery or reserve
or some familiar feeling
scared.. so scared to let go
of leaving ourselves open to that hurt
which is bound to be there..
so used to shutting out.. negating
any touch in that sacred place inside..
where no one dwells
where even we avoid our own eyes sometimes
only the truth palpable.. breathing..
sacred.. untouched.. resides
and then to feel someone there
where did the walls go
who can step in like that
where even we don't tread
and it is indescribable
a re-introduction to life
for your own disappears
melts so willingly into another
and you try to fight to find your bearings
to find yourself
and all you feel is that touch
lost.. till this acceptance
as you embrace the beauty of this feeling
exultant.. rarely blessed
and you find yourself.. reborn..
