dawning smile

i feel the sunshine
reflecting off these dewdrops
blushing radiantly
in moist palpable expectation,
trembling in poised surrender
to the touch of it's warm fingers
as they welcome it with each new
Dawn.. again and again....

and your thought smiles
in my heart, and unaware
i feel the reflected welling
of emotion that tugs at my soul
in yet another fresh realization
of a blessing, that's you....

your dreams, your gestures
that pure dew brimming in your eyes
in mute protest.. and again i lose
myself helplessly.. only to come
alive yet again, as you gently
chide me with this.. your dawning smile..
